Reasons for Postponement
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced that the postponement is necessary to implement key adjustments to the registration templates.
There were concerns regarding some Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres using unauthorized facilities to gain approval, prompting the need for further checks and corrections.
The adjustments also relate to the recent suspension of certain law programmes for selected universities, as submitted by the Council for Legal Education.

JAMB acknowledged the potential disruption this change may cause to candidates and other stakeholders, offering sincere apologies for any inconvenience.
The additional time will be utilized to ensure a smoother registration process.
Suspension of Law Programmes
JAMB previously announced that admissions for the Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) programme would not be conducted for eight universities in the 2025/2026 academic session.
The affected universities include:
1. Kwara State University, Malete, Ilorin
2. Bingham University, Karu, Nasarawa State
3. Redeemers University, Ede, Osun State
4. Western Delta University, Oghara, Delta State
5. Taraba State University, Jalingo, Taraba State
Registration Details
The registration for UTME will now commence on February 3, 2025, and is set to end on March 8, 2025.
For Direct Entry (DE) candidates, the application documents and e-PIN vending registration will start from March 10 until April 7, 2025.
Registration for DE candidates will be restricted to JAMB State and Zonal Offices.
